On November 26th,the inaugural meeting of the"Silk Road International Community for the Integration of E-commerce Industry and Education"was held at Hangzhou International Expo Center.The meeting was guided by the Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province,the Department of Education of Zhejiang Province,and the Office of the Leading Group for the Construction of China(Hangzhou)Cross-border E-commerce Comprehensive Pilot Zone,and was initiated by Zhejiang Foreign Language Institute.Twelve colleges and universities,ten enterprises and four industry organizations from seven countries,including Russia,Brazil,Argentina and Uzbekistan,became the first founding members of the Community.The open"Community"will also attract more quality partners from the"Silk Road E-commerce"partner countries and"Belt and Road"countries.

The"Silk Road International Community for the Integration of E-commerce Industry and Education"is aimed at integrating high-quality resources in the e-commerce industry across regions,and jointly promoting the integration of industry and education with industry organizations,higher education institutions,and upstream and downstream enterprises.

It is committed to promoting a high degree of matching between industry demand and education supply,as well as efficient and orderly multilateral cooperation.In addition,accelerating the high-quality and sustainable development of the industry,creating a new high ground for the formation of international cooperation in the digital economy,helping China's e-commerce industry to realize high-quality development through international cooperation,and accelerating China's opening up to the outside world in the field of digital trade are also the main thrusts of the Community's work.

After the establishment of the"Silk Road International Community for the Integration of E-commerce Industry and Education",it will promote the integrated development of the industrial chain,supply chain,innovation chain and value chain of the Silk Road e-commerce by jointly building the"Belt and Road"Silk Road e-commerce industrial park,incubator,and mass innovation space.Co-organized"Belt and Road"Silk Road e-commerce forums,exhibitions,training and other activities will promote international exchanges and cooperation in the field of Silk Road e-commerce.Members of the Community will also jointly promote the sharing of educational resources for Silk Road e-commerce,jointly establish"Belt and Road"cross-border e-commerce talent training bases,jointly develop teaching materials and curricula,and cultivate more Silk Road e-commerce talents with an international outlook and practical ability.

Specific cooperation takes the following five forms.

01 Talent Cultivation

Mutual employment of teachers between schools and enterprises.

Provide much-needed talents to relevant industries through commissioned training,order training,apprenticeship and other forms;

Enterprises provide platforms for students'internship and employment;

Colleges and universities carry out pre-service training,job training and continuing education for industrial entities.

Jointly solve education and development problems through multilateral cooperation.

02 Resource Sharing

Through multilateral cooperation,summarize the industry's new achievements,new modes and new progress,and develop teaching resources in an organized manner;

Reduce costs and improve the efficiency of resource utilization through teacher sharing,curriculum sharing,teaching materials sharing,teaching resources sharing,internship and practice resources sharing,online training,online tutoring,online help,etc.,and quickly and efficiently dock resources.

03 Industry Research

Regularly write industry development analysis reports,industry talent demand forecast reports,talent supply and demand lists and technology supply and demand lists;

Regularly organize seminars and academic conferences to share development experience and display research results;

Utilize common funding to establish a collaborative innovation mechanism to crack industry development problems,and jointly carry out technological research and model innovation;

At the same time,the Community regularly solicits and releases cooperative research projects,applies for international project funding,and promotes the research and solution of regional problems.

04 Teacher and Student Exchange Programs

The cooperation between universities in different countries or regions provides the necessary conditions and support for mutual visits of teachers and exchange of students.The cooperation includes providing financial support,mutual recognition of credits,and carrying out various forms of undergraduate or undergraduate-master's degree programs to cultivate talents with an international outlook and cross-cultural communication skills.

05 Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Cooperate to cultivate innovative and entrepreneurial talents,provide resources and support needed by entrepreneurs and innovative teams,and organize regular entrepreneurial competitions,business incubation and other activities to promote the sustainable development of the industry;

Regularly or irregularly organize innovation and entrepreneurship competitions,industry-teaching integration teaching competitions,and innovation and entrepreneurship education forums.
